Crystal Persephone
The Soleil Glass Compendium | Goddess Series
Where darkness blooms into light.
Inspired by Persephone, the Greek goddess whose story moves between the underworld and the return of spring, Crystal Persephone is a celebration of transformation, duality, and the beauty that emerges from darkness.
This extraordinary bead begins with a bold, dichroic-filled foundation, alive with shifting color, reflection, and depth. Suspended above that luminous world is a delicate, mystical flower created using Double Helix reduction glass, with a sparkling crystal at its heart.
The flower appears to float within the glass, creating a sense of movement, dimension, and almost otherworldly beauty.
In this installment of the Soleil Glass Compendium, we'll explore the artistry behind this captivating design, including the relationship between dichroic glass, silver reduction chemistry, floral construction, and the illusion of suspended depth.
Part science, part mythology, and entirely Soleil.
A little magic. A little chemistry. A goddess captured in glass.
