The whole piece moves in warm currents of orange, amber and red, with streaks of electric color slipping through the fire. Deep spirals sit beneath the surface, surrounded by tiny suspended bubbles and pockets of clear glass that let you look straight through one layer and into another.
Some angles feel molten and almost liquid. Turn it again and the cooler blues and greens suddenly appear between all that warmth.
There’s so much movement inside this one that your eye never really lands in the same place twice.
A little storm of color, heat and light—held still just long enough to become glass.
