Tie-Dye Flowers is a layered study in color, chemistry and movement.
This tutorial begins on a Dark Aqua base, then builds reactive flower layers with Pea Green, Double Helix Skylla and clear encasement. The flower centers are poked and trapped under clear, creating tiny pockets of depth that make the petals feel suspended inside the bead rather than sitting on top of it.
Then comes the part that gives Tie-Dye Flowers its name. The glass between the blooms is reheated and twisted with clear stringer, pulling the surrounding color into soft spirals and stretching the petals into that fluid, psychedelic movement.
The finished bead shifts constantly as it turns. Violet and magenta move through chartreuse, turquoise and electric flashes of dichroic light, while every flower seems to open a little differently depending on the angle.
Bright, dimensional and a little wild, this one feels unmistakably Soleil.
